GLENMORE ROAD

The project is designed in a 1.4Ha land situated within Coatesville natural landscape and surrounded by high ash trees. The house is designed using the local conventional architectural style of board and batten cladding and pitched corrugated metal roof with exposed timber structural trusses.

The project included the design of two houses. The main house of 360 sqm, and the cottage of 60 sqm.

The main house is designed as a single floor and is spread across the land to create three distinctive wings: the formal lounge, the family space and the sleeping area containing three bedrooms and two bathrooms. An extra small space (office) is connected to the spacious entry, which forms the link between the three sections of the house.

The interiors are designed with a local flavour using board and batten, traditional mosaic tiles and exposed timber trusses.
